Skyscraper ads are known for being very tall. Their heights usually range from 500 to 800 pixels while their widths often range from 120 to 160 pixels.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For so long, buyers and sellers did not have a standard skyscraper size to adhere to. Thus, skyscraper ads became the province of large, well-branded sites capable of selling custom advertising packages. However, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) announced standard sizes for skyscraper ads. These standard sizes are:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>120&#215;600 for the standard skyscraper, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>160&#215;600 for the wide skyscraper<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Following the introduction of these standard sizes for skyscraper ads, the ad category became more prominent at advertising networks. Oftentimes people refer to skyscraper ads as skyscraper banners.
